Join us for a trip to Ancient Echoes Interpretive Centre to learn about Indigenous History (petroglyphs, rock formations, effigies, archaeological dig, ceremonial circles, buffalo jump, food processing site, tool artifacts and pottery making displays).
Outdoor hike which takes about 1-1.5 hours The outdoor hike takes place in a nearby pasture about a 5 minute drive from the centre. The trail is unmaintained and therefore not wheelchair accessible. There are several hills on the hike and cactus so we recommend wearing good shoes.
If guests are unable to do the hike, we have a recorded version of it that can be played for them as well at the centre. The centre is wheelchair accessible. We have three main rooms for guests to explore including our paleontology room and two archeology rooms that focus on artifacts found in the area.
Guests may leave their things in the tearoom if they wish, this space can also be used for lunch.
Items to bring: Bagged lunch, bug spray, hats, sunscreen, walking shoes, water bottles
