A New Name, A Bigger Vision: Introducing Caregivers Saskatchewan
Welcome to Caregivers Saskatchewan!
For many years, we have been known as The Saskatchewan Caregiver Information and Support Centre, a place in Saskatoon where caregivers could come for information, connection, education, and support.
That work remains at the heart of what we do.
Our vision is growing. We know that caregivers across Saskatchewan are looking for support, and not every caregiver can travel to Saskatoon to access it. Rural and remote caregivers can face additional barriers to finding information, connecting with others, and accessing programs and services close to home.
That is why we are becoming Caregivers Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan caregiving strategy in the works to ‘ease caregivers’ journey’
The Saskatoon Council on Aging is creating a provincial caregiving strategy that outlines how Saskatchewan could better support caregivers
