Legal Empowerment Series: Making Sense of AI

Generative AI (GenAI) is changing the way people access information, communicate, and solve everyday problems. In this workshop, we will explore how GenAI tools work, what they do well, and where they can make mistakes. We will chat about some important safety topics, like AI-generated misinformation, and consider the questions to ask when using this technology.
Presenter Info: Jill McMillan currently works as a Learning Specialist at the University of Saskatchewan (USask). At USask, she has been teaching students about Gen AI since 2023 and helped develop the University Library’s GenAI Guide.
