Blood Pressure Clinic
The clinic is held the first Tuesday of every month at the Resource Centre from 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Along with blood pressure checks visitors are welcome to take free resource materials from the centre, have refreshments and socialize. Donations from individuals and businesses keep our blood pressure clinic running. We will now be featuring our new Wellness clinics, held in conjunction with regular blood pressure clinics. A health nurse and pharmacist will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional information during the blood pressure clinics.
The first free clinic was held in the Council's Resource Centre on November 1993 and was attended by 34 older adults. Since then we have served over 24,000 people at our monthly blood pressure clinic.

The Resource Centre houses pamphlet materials of
interest to older adults including information on blood pressure.
