Seniors Walk 2011

CELEBRATE SENIORS WEEK IN SASKATCHEWAN -

Seniors Walk was enjoyed by all participants. The weather cooperated for the event, giving us a beautiful autumn day for a walk along the riverbank.

Mayor Atchison was on hand to cut the ribbon for the walk and representatives from Saskatoon Health Region, Forever in motion were in attendance. After a brisk 45 minute walk, participants enjoyed a light lunch made possible by donations from Saskatoon Co-op and Sobeys, Preston Crossing. After a brief program door prizes were distributed among the winning participants.

About the Walk

To celebrate the contributions older adults make in our province. This walk is being organized by the Saskatoon Council on Aging, Saskatchewan Seniors Fitness Assoc, and in motion with the assistance of many seniors clubs in Saskatoon.
